Lesson description:

a. The characteristics of the ancient Greek Art are defined together with the students.

b. The students are shown three pictures (LO viewed during the preparation) of ancient Greek Art – specifically vessels. Together we make three sentences that characterize specific art manifestation.

c. Students were assigned to bring a sample of an aged vessel they have at home and in their way its history in time and characterize its image.

d. A comparison of the characteristics of ancient and modern vessels is made and the crucial questions are set.

1. Function of vessels, their utilization?

2. Why are vessels needed, why were they invented and what is their modern design?

3. How do we discover ancient discover?

4. Should historical objects be enshrined and why?

e. The aim is to define historical values of a relic. Students came to the conclusion about the usefulness of enshrining and realized the value of their speech about the objects they brought on their own and also realized the desire to possess something old.
