History of New Media

This course material is used in the Brief History of New Media course of the Media Lab Helsinki.

In the last five years this MA course has been organized in a several different ways. From the very beginning we have included to the course some lectures from visitors, with online study work and exercises.

This material partly replaces the old Brief History -course web site.

IN 2006 a blog of the course reports day by day progress in it. The blog should be considered as the "home of the course".
