       ESCAPE FROM THE JUNGLE

                                                (A TRUE STORY)

 

Read the story. Fill in the blanks using the given verbs in Past Simple.

On Christmas Eve 1971 Juliana Koepke, a seventeen-year-old German girl, .............  Lima with her mother .They ................ on their way to Pucallpa, another town in Peru, to spend Christmas with Juliana’s father.
