Description of the lesson:

This quiz can be used as a part of the lesson teaching passives. Most texbooks, when teaching passives, use the topic of inventions, because is goes together very well. I did exactly this, taught a lesson on passives from a textbook, based on the topic of inventions, and used this quiz at the end of the lesson.

I used the interactive board to show the quiz questions . The students were divided into groups and each group tried to write down the right answers, and then the best group was the winner.

I did not have time to do it, but the quiz can also be a starter to an activity, where the students make similar quiz questions themselves, using passives. This quiz then also serves as an inspiration.

My students like this activity very much, it taught them some new information about famous people from the history, made them use English and amused them at the same time.
